Not as horrible as it sounds

Since it's on Comcast on-demand I thought I would go ahead and start a thread. As 'cautionary tales' go, this one was watchable. Sure, it was made for about a dollar and a half and it's the Reefer Madness of VD films, but the cast is OK. Some were actually actors, primarily on TV. Even the director seemed to at least be trying to make it visually interesting. It's a curiosity that I wouldn't go out of my way to watch again, but I've seen much worse.

I give the director extra props for not getting all preachy or judgmental with the subject matter. Plus the film nicely captures the shame one would feel about catching a venereal disease in that era.

I've been chasing grace/ But grace ain't easy to find

I agree that the performances were good, and the film was well shot. The actors were also good looking, and I loved the main character's car. Actually, I get the impression that the writer/director enjoyed the salacious subject matter, which is probably why the work doesn't come off as judgmental.
