i've been watching this on MST3K for years and I was wondering if anyone knows what the scientist guy is actually saying when he exclaims "the roji panty complex!". although this provided the biggest laugh in the episode, i always wonder what the hell he was actually saying! any ideas?
shareI think he really did say Roji Panty Complex. Maybe if you watch the Un-MSTed version you can hear him more clearly. But hey its poor dubbing what can I say?
shareI haven't seen this in over a year, but I also distinctly remember a part of the movie where the scientists talk about "rojium" and "pantium" as though they were elements or something. I also remember that this got no comment from Mike and the bots, not even a snicker at the sheer absurdity of naming a chemical "pantium."
Anyway, my guess, trying to piece together the "plot" and "storyline" of the movie, is that the Roji-Panty Complex is caused by the combination of rojium and pantium. Oh, wait, now the entire movie makes sense!
Or...not.
I didnt get the second one, but the first one is Rhodium (Rh), an element similar to platinum, but more expensive.
(Maybe the second one is "Pentium". So the Japanese can sue Intel.)
