These Old Twist Movies

They were pretty bad, especially this one. I saw it once on TV and didn't watch for very long. The acting was too bad and the story too silly.

I fast-forwarded through most of it, stopping to hear songs by Chubby Checker, Dion and The Marcels.

I just saw this on tv.

Man did this bring back memories.

Dion is in this. I am going to see Dion at the beacon theather this June.

Clay cole was in this movie. He had his own show in the 60's it was television live I think on channel 9 or 11.

They shot the show in manhattan. I went their with some of my friends the kinks were appearing.

Their front man was Ray Davies. My cousin Rosie was with us she was a hot girl when she was 17. Ray Davies evidently liked Rosie's looks. He just grabbed her behind. I saw him do it so I punched him in the face. Everyone gets all excited who wants to call the cops. Who wants to through us out of the studio. I told him he was lucky their was a lot of witness other wise I would ake sure he never sang again.

Almost time for the show to start.nso they just threw all of out.

Chubby checker is in this. He kind of look like Mohamed Ali. Do you know he is not in the rock and roll all of fame. On commercials for every channel he got a minute or two to teach people the twist. That never happened before or since. For that reason alone he should have been in the hall.

I just finished this one. I'm about to start on Don't Knock the Twist. Seems to me that the point of those films was to promote the music, not to dazzle us with a great plot. The music was excellent, even if the plot wasn't.
