there are no film comedies as this one made, anymore, period. And I have searched Amazon France, in particular, just to see how the French people treasure Bourvil over Jerry Lewis, but noooooo, they like our Jerry muuuuuch better. Renee Clair, Renee Who? The snobism of the French bourgeoisie gets insufferable right here. But what's new about any bourgeois scum anyway ? All is watered down to our "Great Taste". They also innovate our education with more money and less "bon sense", what a ploy for the peoples believing Micheal Moore.
The camera has become a whole different tool for comedy, this time not entirely intentional.

WHO WAS BELOW AVERAGE, Renee Clair or me? Did you see this film at all to defend your simplistic, inarticulate, "sofisticated" broadsides? It was so long ago that you typed your opinion... Have you seen this film at last?
If so, what do you think? Times are a'changing, n'est pas?
