Does anyone know if this movie was ever released? I was an extra while in High School and am trying to find a copy.

What do you mean by "released"? It was certainly released into cinemas soon after completion, and I saw it then. It has now been released on DVD and Blu-ray and I've just watched the Blu-ray disc which has superb picture and sound.

20 minutes in it was pretty good but it didn't go anywhere. IMO somewhat disappointing.
