Who built the monster?
Even though he is not credited, I suspect the Minotaur was created by Carlo Rambaldi . I've discovered if it's an Italian film and the effect was any good, it was usually done by him.

The large body suit, I think, was later reused for the Cyclops in GIANTS OF THESSALY, obviously with a different head piece.
Rambaldi may well have been involved with this.
