Terrific Music Score

The score by Clifton Parker (1905–1989 ) is terrific. This is a first class composer and orchestrator, and orchestra ( Don't know if it's a British band or USA but my guess would be members of the London Phil etc ). This score is 100 % in the style of Hammer, and I thought I recognized some themes from the Horror of Dracula, which was written by James Bernard according to IMDB, Bernard, who wrote many of the scores to the Hammer classic horror movies.

I would say those scores are more than 50 % of the lure of these old classics. So, on top of such masterful scoring are musical nods to his friend James Bernard, who is another master composer in his own right or (rite as Hammer would show). For example the scoring to the after effects of the staking of the young lady in the crypt in Dracula could not be surpassed by even, Mozart. I do not think there are many, if any contemporary composers with this amount of "at will" brilliant film composing for orchestra, at this level. Hats off to Hammer composers, creating such brilliant atmosphere for the many Houses of Hammer, be it beach house, as in this film, or Dracula's castle.

My accountant says, 1 + 1, 40% of the time, equals divorce.
