Susan's scream was from the Hammer Sound Department!

I'm a big follower of Hammer films, and Susan Strasberg's ear-piercing shriek in Scream of Fear has been heard in a number of Hammer Films. In Phantom of the Opera, for example--when the diva is singing, and a piece of scenery tears, and a body on a rope swings out. She lets loose with the same scream. Then, in The Witches, after Joan Fontaine's character is attacked by natives and a witch doctor, we see her mission hut from outside and hear the same shriek. I think it's also used in Dracula, Prince of Darkness, when Helen (Barbara Shelley) finds her husband trussed up and dead over Dracula's stone coffin.
