DVD Boxed set of Tammy movies just like Gidget

I would love to buy a boxed set of Tammy DVD's much like the Gidget DVD set that came out.

I think this set should include:
Tammy & the Bachelor - with Debbie Reynolds & Leslie Nielsen (1957)
Tammy Tell Me True - with Sandra Dee & John Gavin (1961)
Tammy & the Doctor - with Sandra Dee & Peter Fonda (1963)
Tammy & the Millionaire - with Debbie Watson (1967)
Perhaps they could include some interesting info on the films as well...
Maybe some memories with Debbie Reynolds & Leslie Nielsen before it's too late.
They are both great people!

I know many women & teens would buy it. These films were a part of so many young girl's lives & these need to be saved for posterity. I'd love to watch them with my mother & my granddaughters & miss being able to see them whenever I want to.
I caught "Tammy & the Millionaire" on TV many moons ago & I had forgotten how great that movie was too, but I can't remember the leading man's name or character.
My most favorite "Tammy" movies are "Tammy & the Bachelor" & "Tammy Tell Me True". I adore John Gavin as a leading man & think "Tammy Tell Me True" was highly underated; it is such a sweet & poignant love story.
I also loved Sandra Dee & John Gavin in "Romanoff & Juliet"...would also buy that movie on DVD. Peter Ustinov was also wonderful in it as The General of Concordia. Haven't seen it since I was young but loved it & would buy it in DVD format in a heart beat!

I too would love to have this Tammy box set movies. I also know that there are several girls who would like it as well. We all watch them all the time on AMC channels. in fact just yesterday I watched Tammy Tell Me True. I would love it if I could get them on vhs or dvd.

I would buy the set! I would buy them individually if I had too! I wonder when they will be coming out on DVD. I have been searching for 2 years now.

they are coming out! A bunch of my Tammy Friends found out a few weeks ago...and they are going to be coming out in a boxed set as well. I dont know where they will be sold but they should be out any day if not already! keep your hopes up and your eyes open~!

That's wonderful news! I've been searching for years on every site I can find to get any and all of Sandra Dee's movies. I've burned a couple that I recorded to my DVD recorder/burner but I'd pay to have the original DVDs when they come out. I grew up loving her, Doris Day, Debbie Reynolds and many, many more. It's just taking too darn long to get their movies re-released to DVD.. especially when they know that there's tons of fans out here who'd snap them up in a hearbeat. ;)

The box set, with TAMMY AND THE BACHELOR, TAMMY TELL ME TRUE, and TAMMY AND THE DOCTOR, is scheduled to be released in February of 2008. This box set may actually be better than the GIDGET box, because the films will be properly letterboxed in widescreen. The GIDGET films were full frame, which was a disappointment.
