Her involvement with Beatty

To me Warren Beatty always seemed smarmy and questionable, at best. So much so that he never even looked good to me. I don't know how Natalie could have endangered her marriage to Robert Wagner by becoming involved with him.

That's amazing. I never knew Robert Wagner was a homosexual. Where did you hear that?

I appreciate your mentioning this. But you can knock me over with a feather. I never for a moment thought he was gay. I read the new book that he has out and he doesn't even "suggest" the fact. I guess if this is true, he wouldn't. I notice the book that you mentioned is available at my library, so I am going to read it. She also, evidently, wrote a book about Beatty. I won't read that, he gives me the willies lol
I can see why she couldn't stay with JR, but I really don't believe ANY woman could be happy with Beatty.

Wagner is not a homosexual. The dude is straight as a laser beam.

Wagner was only 8 and half years older than Natalie. That's not a big difference but to a snot nose 17 year old (oh9), it might be a big deal.
oh9 hates Wagner. I'm not a big fan of Wagner's either but I don't rely on books as oh9 does. She has no way of knowing if any of the crap she writes is true.

No one was better off with Warren Beatty at that stage of his life. "On the same maturity level" LMFAO! oh9 was not even thought of in 1961. She has no way of knowing how mature Natalie and Warren were in 1961. LOL

I can't stand Wagner but he and Natalie were a beautiful couple. To say they did not look good together is childish.

He din't endanger Natalie's marriage, they were separated when she started seeing him. Natalie didn't even like Beatty much during the filming of the movie and referred to him as "MA" for mental anguish.

Boy, did she hit the nail on the head! He always seems to be confused, or at least looks that way. I guess he actually WAS in mental anguish lol Thank you for your response. I'm relieved ;0

My goodness. Since when should someone leave their spouse because somebody else is supposedly "better" for them? Let alone because they "look better" with another person. Whatever happened to the sanctity of marriage?

As another poster pointed out, Natalie did not become involved with Beatty until after she and Wagner separated - the myth that she left Wagner for Beatty has been disputed by many close to all three actors. Natalie and Beatty didn't get along during filming. Wagner in his own autobio admitted that he had a hard time letting go, even saying that he stood outside Beatty's home with a loaded gun, saying he would have killed him then if he had the chance. Who in this situation comes off as desperate and angry? Wagner does. They were separated and yet he acted like he owned Natalie. I think Natalie was better off without Wagner, that's my opinion.

Which is why many of us feel he had something to do with her death.
He knows she's deathly afraid of water, so take her out on a boat and have her "fall" over.
I think most actors are insane in ways we rarely know, and Wagner had a [if I can't have her, no one can] mentality.

Real LOSERS spell 'loser' looser!

I think he was soooooooooo handsome! And he was supposed to have been a GREAT lover as well. I thought they were beautiful together!
