This is actually a top favorite Hammer film of mine now and saw it about a year ago on Sven .
Interesting that the cat's name was Tabitha .
Hint - the daughters name on the TV Show " Bewitched " ?
( perhaps got her name from this movie but not sure just a wild guess here )
That's sad this feline character was not credited in this film - she at least meowed that deserves a well recognized credit appearance .
I notice that the cat is played by Tabitha, 😸 but is uncredited.😿
Quite unusual for the title character to receive no billing at all.
I'm going to crank up the AC and watch this one. I think I've seen it but I don't remember it yet.

This movie seems to work better in B/W than it would have in color. It just seems to make it all more dank and gothic-like.
