The Hilarious Sacks of Grain

The funniest scene which sticks in my mind, is when Debbie is auditioning for Thelma Ritter to hire her as a ranch hand, and the test is to load sacks of grain into the wagon. Needless to say, the sacks are bigger and heavier than tiny dainty Debbie, and the physical comedy she displays while attempting to do this are worthy of a Carol Burnett skit ! Debbie sure was underestimated as a comedienne !
