30 year old playing a teen!!

surely they could have found an actress under the age of 30 to play a teen. Jessica doesn't look, act or sound like a teenager.

Her name isn't Jessica it is Joyce ( Taylor). She very much acts younger " Daddy-O". If you see Lolita you will see the white blouse tied the same way. Bobbie ( Taylor) actually did the best acting job in the movie ( obviously the fire was the highlight ( especially the train ride)).

Needless to say, that was partly the point. Janssen's character thought she was 20 or 21.

Steve ( Janssen) ends up with Bobbie despite the fact he knows she is under 18 and he is at least 10 years older, and was at least partially responsible for everything because she gave Frank ( Gorshin) the gun. Of course, Bobbie (Joyce Taylor) was very devoted to him, and had a very womanly figure that you could see a bit of through that blouse which made the choice easy for him. Of course, I do not think that Steve and Bobbie will stay for the town's rebuild. Why? Even though he saved many lives and she helped him( the train scene), gossip types would complain about their relationship so they need to start over somewhere new where everyone thinks she is 21.
