How much more do you think they would have offered?

Of course, I'm talking about the white guy to buy the house back over what they paid. Would it have been $500? $1000?

It seems to me that the Younger family could have really screwed The Man if only they were smart about it and changed the way they looked at things. All they had to do would be to just go from white neighborhood to white neighborhood, buying up houses. One at a time, of course. And then waited while the friendly Neighborhood Association Man came along with a check a couple of days later. Bang! Another grand! Easiest money anyone ever made. And they'd be stickin' it to The Man! What could be better?
