A charming little movie, sort of a late neorealist film. Don't know if I was in a proper mood or it was Olmi's craftsmanship, but often I could feel Domenico's emotions like if I was in his place. The movie's minimalist approach really helps with this, because the distance that separates movies from real wife is too short here: just enough writing, just enough acting, just enough directing. A mundane slice of life turned into cinema. Nice.
