"Bleh? What's a 'bleh'? Is that one of your jive words like 'Emancipation'?" Drawn Together

Oh gosh I havent seen this movie in years, but I think that they were friends in school or something along those lines...

To quote Roger Radcliffe, from the animated movie, "Ah!...here comes Cruella, your dearly devoted old schoolmate." ;)

reply

In the live action movie, isn't Cruella the boss of Anita?

reply

Yup, in the movie she's Anita's boss, but in the animation, Roger does say that Cruella and Anita are old schoolmates..

Thanks!

In the television series, Anita works for Cruella. I daresay they were schoolmates too.

They must have been a weird looking pair at school.

In the book, Mrs. Dearly (a/k/a Anita Radcliffe in the film) says that Cruella had been a classmate; that her hair had always been half-black and half-white; that she'd been expelled for drinking ink; and that "she was no friend of mine - I was afraid of her."

They were classmates. At least, I know from watching the movie. I'm not sure if this is true in the original novel by Dodie Smith.

reply

Maybe Anita was one of those poor girls other girls like cruella took advantage of in scool.

reply

They were classmates. Maybe former friends until something happened between them.
