I absolutely love the hilarious show that Horace and Jasper are watching in Hell Hall. The idea is so hysterical, and I think it would actually be a hit were it on today. "What's My Crime"- where experts try to guess what weird offense the contestant committed. Genius.

I always wondered that myself. Apparently someone guesses his crime - at one point he whispers to someone and they say the answer is no because he didn't want them to know his crime.
They also mention that he has a debt to society, which strongly implies that he was involved in some crime of corruption.

Actually, when he's whispering to the host it's implied that he's asking him if the panelist's question (violating a city ordinance) applied to his crime. Also, paying a "debt to society" simply means that he's been sentenced to jail.

My daughter currently watches this DVD several times a day, and I have been very careful to pay attention to this scene lately. They never do say what his crime was. I wonder if I wrote a letter to Disney if they would know what it was, as a bit of trivia?

Walt Disney himself appeared on one episode, but the goal was to always stump the panel as to whom the person was they were trying to guess was on the stand.
The best was Clarence Nash, the voice of Donald Duck. He stumped the panel, and in the end, one of the women on the panel asked him to speak as Donald, and he obliged. :)

sounds an awful lot like him. he's not credited in the movie so i was just wondering.
Nope, the voice actor was Tom Conway, whom also voiced the collie who takes Pongo, Perdita, and the puppies to the barn with the cows.
shareI can't believe I didn't recognize Tom Conway's beautiful voice as the game show host--especially because he had a somewhat similar delivery as the narrator of Peter Pan about eight years before 101 Dalmatians was released.
