In this film Peter Finch is at the top of his game -- and his game is very good. Thank god Oscar got around to giving him Best Actor, although posthumously after his Network performance as Howard Beale. Just remember, besides No Love for Johnnie, Finch knocked 'em dead as Oscar Wilde, within a year or so. He can do no wrong.

hiding all these years ? Very enjoyable with an excellent Peter Finch. And Rosalie Crutchley is very good playing his wife, Alice. She wowed the world
in the 1962 movie, The Haunting, where she only has a few lines as the housekeeper. By the
way, I think everyone should see Finch's movie, NETWORK (1975), with its
subject matter being very appropriate to 2010 TV news (FOX).
He deserved Best Actor Academy Award.
