release date?!?

Release date is noted as 1961 ...but WHEN? If one investigates further, one is stymied as 1961 was the UK release date....1962 in USA...and the other 8 nations listed, all have DATED releases, but no mention of its HOME COUNTRY...very odd...

Would anyone have more info please?
