I love Miss Marples Harpsichord theme song.
The music follows her through every feature.

it is fabulous.

That harpsichord music does suit Miss Marple's busybody character. It's such a feel-good tune. It's included in a 'Miss Marple Suite' that Ron Goodwin went on to polish up his early sixties film scores in 1992. The harpsichord harp kit used later does sound slightly different from the original. It's a lovely nostalgic piece.

I was six when the movie was released and I remember the theme tune was very popular over MOR radio stations, in New Zealand for one.

I like the remixes on You Tube with footage of Margaret Rutherford as Miss Marple. Remixed it sounds brighter than ever.
