They gave it so much grief on "Wiseguy" during the Volchek story arc. Marc Volchek was obsessed with this movie, and everyone else gave him a lot of crap for having "bad taste in movies".

It's a decent B movie. It's not Citizen Kane but it's a good way to spend 90 minutes.
shareI just finished watching this, it's a good movie with some nice atmospheric bits, decent acting, some good plot twists and a good ending (spoiled by William Castle turning up again near the end), a solid B movie. Considering the truly bad stuff that the B/C studios were cranking out at the time, it's worth a viewing.
shareIt's a good movie but I don't think anyone would pay much attention to it if Mr. Sardonicus didn't look so horrifying and if Castle didn't have that gimmick for the movie.
It was a neat film to watch with my friends in October.
Not bad but not great either. Just an average horror movie.
