Sequal

From what I hear, a sequal was planned for this movie and a script, sketches and even concept models were created. Does anyone have any idea what the sequal was going to be about, what the vehicles would look like ect... I'd like to hear any information whatsoever on the proposed sequal of Master of the World.

I never heard of a sequel to the movie, but there were two Verne novels that the movie was based on. Most of the characters, and the Albatross, are from the first book "Clipper of the Clouds". Bronson's character Strock is from the second book "Master of the World". The vehicle in that book, the terror, was a combination Automobile, submarine and flying maching with folding wings that flap like a bird. It was smaller than the albatross and had a crew of 3 Robur, Turner and a third unnamed character. The woman character in the movie doesn't appear in either book.

Peeps on this site are always craving remakes; well, here's one that could definitely use one what with the state of fx today. Also, has anyone else noticed that this flick is the same story as "20,000 Leagues?" In the original tale, the sequel Verne wrote, the vehicle was quite something. Perhaps someone could work that into a remake.

Nothing exists more beautifully than nothing.

I'm not craving for a remake, I HAVE read both of the books (Clipper of the Clouds and Master of the World plus several other Verne classics) I was simply interested in the sequal that was planned that seems to be listed in the trivia section.
