anyone else suprised the cage monster story didn't develop?

the following includes a minor spoiler, i thought the chick behind the bars would eventually get out and become an attacking monster, but she just remains behind the bars until near the end when she gets shot there. there is also a long love drama story in the middle wich made me forget for a while if this was actually the monster movie as seen in the start. the leading japanese actress (no, it's not chloe cho) looks like a modern screen chick worked on with make-up to look as hot as possible.


early one morning colleen and i,
instead of the usual snow land to spend our time,
decided to go vacation south bound,
georgian wilderness and carolina style,
say hello to these excentric town folk,
colleens hand waving as we go,
hillbilly country with my hat on,
just don't go too far down the river,
took a ride in on a pick up truck,
i'll carry you colleen when too deep in the mud,
see the tractor wheel tracks,
walk in them to get back,
