Available as an excellent DVD in January of 2013

Alpha Films has released a restored, letterboxed, uncut print of the film on DVD for a bargain price. Forget about Alpha'a normal reputation. In this case, they have leased the film from the William Alland estate and have included a documentary about Alland as well. I never thought I'd see such a good print of this film, since it never came out on VHS.

Alcoholic Alex Nicol's wife Ruth Roman is playing around with neighborhood stud Jack Cassidy. Their respective kids, played by Paul Anka and Gigi Perreau, have problems of their own. Meanwhile, a creep in a monster mask is peeping on the philandering neighbors and terrorizing the community. The film lurches from exploitation to camp, but does provide an interesting portrait of suburban America circa 1961.

I just watched the MST3K version of The Deadly Mantis. They had a documentary of Alland as well. I don't remember them mentioning this film, but the description of someone looking in the window with a mask on sounds interesting. What kind of mask is it? A Google search doesn't seem to show anyone in a mask.
