What Kind of Bra was Sandra Wearing ?
I think that the wardrobe department for "Konga" must have fitted actress
Claire Gordon with "The Bird Dog Bra" ( you know--the one that turns 'setters'
into 'pointers' )

It was quite arresting and especially egregious in the after-dinner scene at Dr. Decker's home near the end of the film.

I thought I would be the only curious about that bra :P
That is what was in the day was called either a bullet bra or bazooka bra.
Here's a pic of Sandra not wanting to add Konga's name to her dance card.

If memory serves, in one of the earlier scenes between Dr. Decker and Sandra he says something about wanting to "go over a few points" with her. I couldn't help but smile. I had been thinking the same thing. ;-)
shareShe was wearing the kind of bra that could poke your eyes out.
LOL, love these comments - I had to laugh about that bra too. I'm sure someday they'll make a come back too ! I love this crazy movie!!
shareWell they had to have some effective weapon against KONGA.
thanks for my first GOOD laugh of 2013!!!! love that comment. HAPPY NEW YEAR!
shareRemember the commercial from the 60s that went "It's what's up front that counts!" Could someone have had this bra in mind?
I noticed several ladies have replied. Did any of you ever wear one of these and did it fit as badly as it looked like it might have fit?
I personally have met very few "pointy" women in my life.
By the way, whatever happened to Sandra? I may have missed something, but the last time I remember seeing her in 'Konga' a killer plant was gnawing on her arm. Do we presume she was one of the casualties in the final scene? Or did she get away? Or perhaps just the proverbial cinematic loose end.
