Girl singer sounds like a guy ??

This film shows a young girl singing 2 songs but she sounds like s guy.In the first song the words are written as if a guy is singing to a girl! It's really odd! They never said her name but I assume it's Helen Shapiro.

I read up on her after seeing this movie and it seems she never clicked in the US. Too bad because she sounds amazing. That huge voice coming out of such a tiny person.My favorite song in the film was "Let's Talk About Love" which wasn't even a big hit for her.

Haha! I just saw this myself and thought the very same thing. As I had never heard of this film, I began to wonder if this was some long-lost early portrayal of transexual themes.
