"They keep the facts away from you!... What I'm gonna tell you is gonna make your blood boil. I'm gonna show you that the way this country's gonan go depends entirely, and wholly, on you!... Now, you all know that there was peace and quiet in the South (America) before the NAACP (Obama) started stirring up trouble. But what you don't know is this so-called advancement of colored people (social justice) is now, and has always been, nothing but a Communist front headed by a Jew who hates America (George Soros)...
They knew that the quickest way to weaken a country is to mongolize it (care about poor people)... So they poured all the millions of dollars the Jews could get for them into this one thing... desegregation (health care). The judge belongs to a society which receives its funds directly from Moscow (and Muslims, I presume)! Your mayor and the governor (Obama) could have stopped it-- but they didn't have the guts... The Negroes (liberals) will literally, and I do mean literally, control the South (America)! If you want to stop it right here, today, I'm with you. Because I'm an American and I love my country, and I'm willing to give my life if necessary to see that my country stays free! White (Conservative)! And American!"

I'd hate to imply Beck is a racist, so that's why I did some substitutions, but Shatner's villain sounds a lot like him.

How's that a mental illness? I saw this movie and the paranoid talk of Communists, taking back America, and feigned devotion to one's country sounded remarkably like one of his rants.

I specifically said he WASN'T a racist. All I'm saying is he's villifying progressive ideas (like the end of segregation or, in his case, universal health care) and linking it to some kind of communist conspiracy to destroy America. Then he ends with tears and how much he loves his country.
The fact that you don't see a comparison between the rhetoric:
"I mean, we told you about social justice. It's a code word. Not every time you hear it, but you should question it every time you hear it because it's a code word -- comes from the Fabian society, the communist, and the progressives here in America."
or
"Whether it is your UN leaders that want a New World Order because they want a one world government, the UN. You have George Soros who wants his open society. But this isn't the open society charity that he does, but a philosophy on a borderless world, please look it up. It's a society, not a charity. This is controlled by a central government, or, I don't know, maybe it'll just be run by the TIDES Foundation or the groups the TIDES Foundation runs.

If you dont' see a comparison between that and the way Shatner riles up the supporters as his character in The Intruder than you're not crazy, you're blind. You may lack reading comprehension. Seek elementary help.

Don't bother arguing with him. All he ever does is whine about Liberals, Obama, and anything else he hears on Fox News over on the politics board. He is the exact kind of simple-minded moron that would be standing in that crowd, listening to Shatner spew nonsense.
