Anyone else watching this for Halloween today?
I am. I always watch this on Halloween and no matter how many times I see it the film still scares and fascinates me in equal measure.
In my opinion this is the best British ghost film ever made, it has a really spooky atmosphere and the period recreation is so well done it's like we are watching people and events from that time. The entire cast are excellent especially the children, I love how they were able to convey a wisdom beyond their years and come across as really creepy in many scenes.
Go to bed Frank or this is going to get ugly .
