Homicidal begs to be remade!
Please Hollywood this deserves to be remade!
shareI honestly don't think it would work as a contemporary film because with color photography and a more contemporary setting the big "secret" would be figured out pretty early by most people. Maybe if we never saw Warren then it could work.
shareNo to a remake. The campy elements of the film cannot be repeated in this day and age. William Castle was one of the King of "B" movies.
shareI disagree. We've all seen what happens when Hollywood takes a classic film and tries to go one better by redoing it with big-name stars and a $100,000,000 budget. The overwhelming majority of the time it turns out to be a piece of crap and an insult to the original. A complete waste of time. You can't improve on the quality of the original, so why even make an attempt? Leave well enough alone. William Castle created a minor masterpiece here on a low-budget with a good ensemble cast of mostly unknown actors. Really think some hotshot modern director can top him with some yuppie jerk actors in the role? I DON'T THINK SO!
shareNo, no, NO! Hollywood's already butchered enough of William Castle's movies by attempting to remake them. The gimmick king is gone, and his work should be preserved as it is and rest in peace, not be submitted to the cinema slaughter today's film studios and the people behind them are notorious for creating.
shareI agree that it should be remade. But as long as it's done by someone that knows what they're doing.
shareA remake??? WHY??? Doesn't anyone remember that disastrous PSYCHO remake?
And more to the point, the movie's big shock ending would be a total snooze today. Even if audiences never heard of the original, you can hardly turn on TV these days without seeing transvestites and transsexuals on everything from People's Court to Dancing With The Stars. Big whoop.
It WAS!!!!!! Jeez, does nobody else remember Color of Night?
shareperson begging for remake=idiot
