Carl Reiner + Jeff Donnell

I thought they were funny as Gidget's parents. They had great chemistry. I noticed in the scene where Gidget is surfing on the guys shoulders, Jeff is eating pineapple and she starts feeding some to Carl and laughing.

Jeff returned as Mrs. Lawrence in Gidget Goes to Rome, but Don Porter played Mr.Lawrence. Don was good as Russ in the tv series with Sally, but the mother was written as passed away. Jeff appeared on the series in a different role. I think they should have written her in as Gidget's mother in the series as well.

Eddie Foy & Peggy Cass were hilarious as Abby's parents as well. Vicki Trickett dropped off the face of the earth after doing an Ozzie and Harriet episode.
