Just to hear Ron and Eth's voices coming from underneath the tarpaulin! I nearly fell off the chair. Good fun!

I don’t know if it WAS June Whitfield & Dick Bentley doing the voice overs of Ron & Eff, but if it wasn’t, the actors who DID do it got them absolutely right.

Ron & Eff were a forever engaged couple in the long-running BBC Radio series of the 1950’s/60’s “Take It From Here”, played by June Whitfield & Dick Bentley..

I have never understood why Dick Bentley gave Ron an Australian accent.
