British DVD in August

There's a British edition of THE DEADLY COMPANIONS on the way from Optimum in August. Hopefully, it will be the same anamorphic 2.35:1 transfer as the recent Danish edition. There is/was a Japanese edition, but it cost about $40. Decades of atrocious, faded pan and scan TV prints finally come to an end!

Warning: Avoid the Sunflower Pictures release. It's one of the ugliest transfers I've seen. The image is cropped and the colour so faded that certain scenes look like they were filmed in B&W.
