Yeah, it was pretty bad. I think the only reason I tolerated it was because of the short length of time I'd have to endure this and also because I knew it was a time capsule movie. Teenagers in 1961 went to a movie theater and actually watched this nonsense.

Agreed. This film was hideously dull, slow, and talky. 3 out of 10 from me.

I actually saw this film in a hardtop movie theater in 1962, as part of a horror triple-bill. The audience laughed at it. The main villainess (later sex film star Monica Davis) is way over the top. I kind of like the zombie, however.

The family who owned the plantation used in the film was paid fifty dollars a day by the film crew.
