Yvonne Romain

I have to say she is probably my favourite Hammer lady alongside Yutte Stensgaard

Yvonne Romain gave a terrific performance as the mute servant girl. Moreover, she's quite the delectably full-figured brunette beauty.

Nobody does W.C. Fields singing "Mama Told Me Not to Come" better than Paul Frees.

A few years later Hammer had a film where Reed and Yvonne Romain were loves.
I forget the title, but it wasn't a monster film

Yvonne Romain is also in Hammer's "Captain Clegg," which was released in the United States as "Night Creatures." Oliver Reed is also in this film. He and Yvonne play young lovers. It's not a horror film although it was advertised in the U.S. as a horror thriller. I would describe it as an atmospheric and enjoyable mystery-adventure.

None prettier!

There's no way she'd be a lonely servant girl for very long. As such, I find her part in the film totally unrealistic. Men would duel to the death for a woman that gorgeous, and yet she's this ignored, lonely servant girl -- why sure!

Yvonne's absence was sorely felt in the remainder of the film after her character was killed off. She was more attractive than the other woman and showed more personality without ever speaking a single word. She was undoubtedly the best part of the film in my opinion.

YOU SAID IT! Yvonne Romain was the most stunningly beautiful woman to ever appear in a Hammer Film, or practically anything else for that matter! Her absence makes the rest of the film a letdown.

I have this movie on a DVD set of Hammer Films & I remember it from many years ago. The stunning & absolutely delicious looking Yvonne is what keeps me watching the movie!

They make it a point to display her ample cleavage but she's stunning even without that. Her beautiful dark eyes and complexion are enough to make guys everywhere dream of her!

No way I'd toss her into a dirty jail cell with a ugly, beggar. I'd take her home myself!
