Yuma Prison

In the Goofs listing it mentions that Yuma Territorial Prison did not exist in 1843. And, in fact, the land that is now Arizona was part of Mexico until 1848.

Yuma Territorial Prison began in 1875. This site gives the history:

Also, I hope I don't remember this wrong but didn't Lee Marvin as Tully Crow get drunkc and sing the chorus of the song "Red Wing" ?
"Oh the moon shines tonight on pretty Red Wing...."

This song was not around until 1907:

If this can be verified then this, too, should be listed in the goofs.

Actually Yuma wasn't US territory until the Gadsden Purchase of 1853.

I'm not saying we won't get our hair mussed!

I Thought that Melinda said her husband was killed at the Battle of San Jacinto 4 years earlier, making the date about 1840, not 1843.

I watched it again on 06-19-19 and that's what Melinda said.

But the opening title card says: “1843 Louisiana”. So Melinda must be very bad at math when saying her husband was killed 4 years ago at the Battle of San Jacinto (April 21, 1836), or else The Comancheros (1961) happens in an alternate universe where the Texas War of Independence happened in 1839, not 1836.
