I saw the film recently and liked it a lot - much better than it's reputation suggests.
this movie is awesome! It reminds me of Duel in the Sun (gregory peck and jennifer jones). One of my favourite Bogarde performances, lol.

I really love this movie. Dirk Bogarde is miscast and looks ridiculously camp with his tight leather trousers and English accent ,and the music is over the top but it still works for me. If Graham Greene wrote potboilers he might've come up with something like this.
