Ronnie Corbett?

I may be seeing things perhaps, it seems strange to be the first to notice, after all these years...

But in the photographer's sketch, where Kenneth Williams gets to wear the beekeeping protective garment, isn't the third man in the scene, the photographer's customer, Ronnie Corbett?

reply

No it's not. That's Ian Wilson, a character actor in British films of the time.

I thought the same - that it looked very much like Ronnie Corbett; but it couldn't have been. The film was much too early for Corbett.

Ronnie Corbett had quite a few minor roles in '50s/early '60s films, though none as high-profile as the Carry Ons. "Fun at St. Fanny's" anyone?! This was a 'copy' of the St. Trinians films, which I remember had Stanley Unwin in it- a little connection there.

"So this is the planet Houston"
