Stanley Unwin

I think some reviewers, with respect, miss the point of Stanley Unwin's brilliance. If you listen very carefully you certainly can understand and thats the whole point. Its not just gibberish its gobbledegook and incredibly difficult to do.
He was a supreme comic genius.

Never saw Unwin before this movie and never since - have the movie and watch it many times for one reason --- Stanley Unwin -- absolutely cracks me up every single time --- and yes you can get the meaning of his *beep* language too. Great performance.

If you liked the whimsical genius that was Stanley Unwin can I advise you to check out The Small Faces 1968 album "Ogden's Nut Gone Flake".

In it's original vinyl format the second side takes the form of a surreal story narrated by Stanley Unwin in 'Unwinese' between related songs by the band.

I also remember him advertising early word processors in the late '80s, very entertaining, unlike today's ads all of which have me reaching for the mute button.

A Small Faces clip I have somewhere on video. Someone's lucky enough to have the whole show, but fortunately posted it :

This was the first time I saw Stanley Unwin too and you may think I'm bonkers but I just about understood what he was trying to say!
