I couldn't do it

I have experienced culture shock through travel and relocation. Changing habits, customs, food, manner of dress, and language is difficult enough but to have to change the way one thinks and almost all aspects of who you are must be extremely difficult. I couldn't and wouldn't want to make the adjust Gwen had to make especially in the way it affected her interactions with her husband. Going from being his equal to being subservient, almost non-existent, and disrespected was a lot for her to take.
