When did you first see 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'?

Ok, this isn't one of those "expand you mind" threads. Just one that may take you down Memory Lane for a bit.

I first saw it on Valentine's Day 1989 on the Million Dollar Movie, which used to come on KTRK-13 in Houston (before they replaced it with various talk shows). It made for a pleasant V-Day, I thought.

Please feel free to share your memories...

I first watched it today. I've made it a mission to watch all these 'classic films' but wouldn't list this as one of my favourites, I think my favourites of the 'classics' are The Graduate and All About Eve.

A couple of years or so ago.

Heard that '90s pop song for the jillionth time and got curious about the old movie it was referencing. iTunes had it for a price well within my means at the moment so I thought, "What the heck? Can't go too wrong with a Hollywood classic."

I'd've gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for you meddling kids.

audrey is indeed lovely in this film, her and peppard are very good actors, the micky rooney character is awful though (you know why)

I saw it in the early '60s, shortly after its release, at a drive-in. I was only about 12, and was more into western action films, but even then, I was really touched by the final scene. I've always liked the lyrics of the song, Moon River.
