Hotel on Kaui still there ?

Just watched this on the movie channel last night, not bad at all, enjoyable leisurely entertaining story. Nice to see Elvis in his prime. Seems like I remember reading in an old AAA tourist magazine that the hotel was destroyed in a big storm about 20+ years ago, but can still be visited. Anybody know about it ? Just curious....

Just googled it folks...was Hurricane Iniki September 11, 1992, and that was the Coco Palms Resort that has never been rebuilt. Steven Spielberg was filming Jurassic Park there at the time and was delayed for a while. Bad storm, Kaui gets hit every 20-30 years....that's the price for living in tropical paradise I guess.
