Even though the plotlines are pretty diferent in each film, this movie plus Pale Flowers plus Man Who Sleeps share a lot of similarities in character development, the hard edge, the minimalism, the noir, the pacing and obviously the beautifully stark black and white fim stock. I want more films like this. Anyone?

Try some Japanese films. Tokyo Drifter, maybe.
