Ralph's stash of cash (Spoilers)

*Spoilers*

I noticed that when Frank killed Ralph, he bashed Ralph's head a few times with the very lamp in which Ralph stashed his cash. As Ralph lay there dead, you could see how that area in the base of the lamp dropped open, and his wad of cash fell out. But Frank either did not see it, or did not wish to add robbery to his crime of murder. Anyway, just thought that was a curious little detail.

Good observation. I noticed the same thing and was waiting to see if Frank would grab the money. I assume he was too punch-drunk to see it in the darkness.

I don't know whether he saw the stash or not, but I remember him arguing that he was rather well-off financially. So he may have left the stash where it was even if he had seen it, because he was simply not after the money.

Of course, that leaves one wondering why he did bargain with Ralphie - perhaps he had simply acted his part and that was it. You're supposed to bargain, or you seem too unprofessional, too rich or too desperate.
