In a way, isn't the Beast of Yucca Flats like the Incredible Hulk? He starts out as a scientist like Bruce Banner and becomes the Beast when he gets caught in an atomic blast like Banner did. The only difference is that he stayed the Beast and Banner tranformed on and off.

Yep, very similar. Now the question is who would win in a fight? My money is on the Beast!
