Which one was the beast?

I'm sorry, but I can't tell who the beast is supposed to be. Is it Tor Johnson or the mother of the two boys? It looks like her face was exposed to more radiation than his...

A woman...her face caught in the grinding wheels of progress...complete denial, refusing the help of dermatology or plastic surgery...she marches on. Fifty years later a viewer...caught in the unending parade of time...observes hideous images he cannot comprehend...a kaleidoscope of swirling images - glasses, face, skin condition, no, help ARRRGGGHH!...and then peace, calm...the afterglow of insanity...the 54 minutes are over.

Right on. The mother was hilarious though - she was apparently supposed to be looking for them kiddies, and act worried, but all she did was stand beside of a dirt road and stare into space with a blase, sedated expression.

Hey! That was Coleman's wife, Barbara, and the real-life mother of the two lost boys! She looks much better without those eyeglasses in his other masterpiece, The Skydivers, where she plays the obnoxious spectator's wife.
