The brainiac monster is actually quite good

Alot of unknowledgable people like to mock this mexican flick because of the brain-sucking monster which they find quite ridiculous. Anyone who has ever read up on demonology in even a cursory way has seen illustrations of old woodcut engravings from the 1400s, 1500s and 1600s that depict demonic creatures as having grossly exagerated human features thus mocking the almighty`s creation. The brianiac monster is actually quite brilliant.

I agree. The brainiac monster was pretty gnarly and grotesque looking.

Agreed. I liked the way its face pulsed or expanded and contracted. It's a nice effect for the time.

I first saw it when I was 8 or 9 years old but I always thought it was quite unique and creepy in it's own way.
