I love 'The Brainiac'

Wow, I can not believe I found a link to this movie. And to find out it is on DVD, which I must get. I have not seen this movie in almost 40 years but I sure do remember it. It is terribly dubbed but as a kid, I thought it was very scary and wierd. The lead character has this huge fancy cup with a spoon and has brains in it and eats from it. Also he has this tongue and sucks the brians out of people. Abel Salazar plays the main character. So wild but I loved it!!! Will be interesting to see it after all these years and see how I feel about it.

If you notice the look on Salazar's face when he starts to eat them at one point, he doesn't appear to be too thrilled at what he's about to put into his mouth! He definitely didn't look like "Wow! That looks great. I can't wait."

That could be part of his character. He seemed to eat brains to sustain his life force and power. So possibly he detested having to eat the brains. He even comments about "have to take my medicine". That is never tasty.

I wonder how they came up with the look of the monster and if maybe the mask and hands might still exist somewhere.

I first saw this movie on the Commander USA show . Now I have on DVD with 2 other movies . "Fury of the Werewolf " and "Doctor
Bloods Coffin "

I miss the old USA network and USA Up all Night shows .
