I would have rated this movie 10 *

were it not for its use of Roman instead of Greek Mythology names.
Otherwise the movie is excellent.
The scene that tops it all is the (almost) nuclear explosion at the end,
a real negative apotheosis !
For a skinflint budget film, it 's much better than many nowadays' worthless blockbusters,
where synthetic images help drown the story : for eyes without a processing brain
("Terminator 2 : Judgment Day" is a movingly thoughtful blockbuster however)

And watching once more the scenes at the end, I suspect that if the movie is shown today, they will be cut as suggestive of the abomination of liberally thrice-cursed apartheid !
