As far as I know, I've never seen it, but is this movie's footage used in other George Pal films, like the "Fall of the City" in Dr. Lao? It seems like I've seen that same city overtaken by water in many movies (maybe not all of them Pal's).
shareYes, that same footage is from ATLANTIS, and footage clips of some of this same effects film were seen in George Pal's WHEN WORLDS COLLIDE, THE NAKED JUNGLE, THE TIME MACHINE and SEVEN FACES OF DR. LAO. In ATLANTIS, George Pal used stock footage mostly from MGM's QUO VADIS (1951) of the burning of Rome, which works well in ATLANTIS to show the destruction of the capital city.

Where can I find stock footage of the Solar Weapon shown in the film? I thought that primitive laser weapon was so cool when I was little.

I think the crystal weapon footage was used in a late 70s docudrama about the Bermuda Triangle. As in Atlantis sank in the triangle area and the laser beam is still active as an explanation for so many unexplained sinkings.
