From Trailers From Hell. You can play with or without Sam Hamm's commentary. I recommend both:

This film looks terrific. Who has seen this?

Realize I'm replying pretty darn late... But I just watched the film for the first time last night. I fell in love with it instantly. If you like jazz-packed films, with that unrealistically hip dialogue, this one's for you. If you're a Shakespeare fan, that's a bonus!

All in all, a superb film, one of the best of the '60s in my opinion. Watch it as soon as you can, if you haven't already. If you haven't, what's the hold up? It's been four months! Haha.

The late reply is fine, Sir_Luke, especially because no one else has posted on this board. What's four months in the scheme of things?

Thanks very much for your impressions. I love jazz, and films about jazz, so I'll seek this out.

Awesome! If you don't know this already, it's fairly easily available on DVD as part of Criterion's Eclipse Series. You can almost certainly find it somewhere like Barnes & Noble, or you can do what I do and look for it at the library. Hope you like it!

Thanks for the tips! I have excellent luck at the library, so I'll check there first. I also have a few terrific indie music and movie stores near me, so I should be able to track it down. Thanks again.
